Given the recent development of a new D League forming in the metro area, the Des Moines Adult Hockey Association would like to make the following announcement:

The Des Moines Adult Hockey Association (DMAHA) had no information about this new league prior to the social media announcement of the new league's formation. While the DMAHA is disappointed that this group chose to leave the organization instead of working to improve and grow the current league, we wish them the best in their endeavors. 

We are excited to announce that DMAHA will provide a D League this fall for those wishing to stay within the adult hockey umbrella.  It will work with team captains within its D League to determine eligible players and set up the team selection process.  

As a non-profit volunteer organization, the DMAHA is committed to providing a variety of enjoyable adult hockey experiences at the most affordable cost.  We not planning to increase D League registration fees and are working to reduce costs and pass on the savings to the players.  More detailed information about dates, times, and cost will be released shortly.
